Fridate with Jacelyn!:)  Finally tried Creamier ice-cream! I had waffles topped with Sea Salt Gula Melaka and Summer Strawberries:) Btw, that was my lunch. I ate everything and it was quite filling! They sell handcrafted ice-cream. I had a hard time deciding on the flavours as they all look so nice. I wouldn't mind going back for their ice-cream! As for waffles, Strangers' Reunion and Wimbly Lu Chocolates definitely serve better waffles than Creamier. Wimbly Lu has the best waffle!:)

It was pretty hot that day but i wore my cropped denim jacket... hahaha

Five & Dime Eatery with Junrong!:) The restaurant is quite accessible as it is 3 stops away from Clarke Quay MRT Station. I made a reservation for two on a Wednesday. Five & Dime Eatery is a pretty restaurant. I'm in love with it!

Pretty chairs:)

We ordered Eggs Benny, Big Brekkie, Mentaiko Pasta, Cappuccino and Cafe Mocha. It was a super filling lunch!! Yumz:) The Mentaiko Pasta is full of flavour with cod fish roe and mentaiko sauce. Junrong liked the Mentaiko Pasta as he said that it tasted like some Japanese cuisine. However, it was too heavy for me. Mentaiko Pasta is one of the signature dishes there so I would recommend everyone to give it a try! You will never know if you would be in love with the pasta;)

Mentaiko Pasta

The poached eggs were cooked to perfection with generous serving of hollandaise sauce. It was served on warm brioche and it tasted so so good!!! I wouldn't mind going back for their Eggs Benny. Thumbs up!:)

Eggs Benny

Big Brekkie's scrambled eggs tasted so good too. The thick toast was quite crispy and I love their bacon! However, the chicken chipolata sausages were quite tasteless. A combination of bacon and sausage would definitely enhance the taste!:)

Big Brekkie

This was sufficient for two but we were too greedy...

The table seems to be too small hahaha

 Cappuccino

Cafe Mocha
(Junrong added 2 sugar cubes haha)

How can one not love coffee?:)

I would definitely visit Five & Dime Eatery again but for dinner this time!:) Their service and food were equally good!

We went to town after our lunch to collect my timesheet. I was craving for ice-cream that day and was looking forward to try Maggie Moo's ice-cream at 313 but it was not available anymore. We decided to head to Maccha House at Orchard Central to try their ice-cream. The ice-cream was about to melt after I took a few pictures of it. OOPS!

Great day spent with Junrong:)

Pique Nique

Ngee Ann City Tower A
#B1-01/02
Singapore 238873
10am-9.30pm

Initially, my babe and I wanted to go Canopy Garden Dining and Bar for our brunch but we were too lazy to alight at Serangoon so we decided to head to Pique Nique instead. The weather was extremely warm that day thanks to the merciless sun and thus, we had to visit a cafe which is air-conditioned.

We ordered The Big Breakfast Burger, Norwegian Benedict and a cup of latte. We regretted ordering both the burger and the breakfast set as one portion is sufficient for two. Norwegian Benedict's smoked salmon was too "heavy" for us so we didn't finish it. I'm not really a fan of smoked salmon so  I will not comment on it any further. The burger was slightly better as compared to Norwegian Benedict. A dish is best accompanied with salad and I love their salad! Their fries were yummy too:)

We had a filling lunch at the cafe but it was not really satisfying:(  We stayed at the cafe for a good 2hours taking pictures and chatting while enduring the freezing cold air-conditioning. After that, we went to find Huishi at the YSL store and listened to her complaints as usual.  It was a great day spent with my babes!!! Love them so so much.♡♡♡

                                                            Latte; the bear is angry:(

Department Of Caffeine (D.O.C)

15 Duxton Road
Singapore, 089481

It was an impromptu trip to D.O.C. I was looking forward to go d'Good Cafe with sis but we walked the wrong direction that day and it was raining heavily so we decided to give this cafe a skip. However, on our way back, we managed to find d'Good Cafe and thus we changed our mind and decided to visit the cafe. d'Good Cafe has three levels and it has a really cool lift but I didn't see anyone using it. We reached the cafe at 12pm and apparently it was packed with people. Not fated to go d'Good Cafe that day:(

We decided to head to D.O.C to try their coffee and waffle:) For your information, Group Therapy is also located at Duxton Road! I will post about my lunch at Group Therapy with my girls soon! D.O.C serves coffee with pretty latte art too:) Love their waffle and apple crumble! However, it's quite inaccessible. We took cab from Outram Park and it cost us around $5! During the journey, the taxi auntie chatted with us. She was very friendly and somehow she just made my day!

That girl in pinafore... HAHAHA

Passionfruit Meringue Tart x Lemon Cream Tart x Chocolate Caramel Tart x Latte

HELLO!!!

It has been years since I last blogged. I'm afraid that my blog will be dead by end of this year as i'm too lazy to update my blog consistently, especially when school starts in late October. YUP I WILL BE BUSY STUDYING WHEN SCHOOL STARTS! Anyway, results will be out tmr...:(

On a brighter note, I have visited 6 cafes ever since the start of my school holiday. YAY!!!:) I really enjoy cafe-hopping. I have visited 18 cafes so far and i have to say Chock Full Of Beans is currently one of my favourite cafes as it serves really nice coffee with pretty latte art! Strangers' Reunion, Five and Dime Eatery, and Carpenter and Cook are my favourite cafes too, so do check them out! I shall start with the 6 cafes I have visited during my holidays:)

The Orange Thimble has a pretty interior and I love the ambience! It's a great place to chill with your friends:) However, I think the food was of average standard.
